Our researchers seek to improve population and public health locally and globally through the pursuit of high-impact, transdisciplinary research. Highly active, the Department is recognized as one of the top research units of its kind in the country, ranking in the top 3 in terms of funding from the National Institutes of Health since 2006. Faculty are based in divisions and interdisciplinary research is conducted through centers and institutes.
