Researcher awarded $2M grant to map L.A.’s food landscape

Kayla de la Haye, PhD, is one of three USC researchers to be awarded a $2 million grant to develop a new approach to understanding food systems, food access and food security across Los Angeles County.

De la Haye, an associate professor of Population and Public Health Sciences at Keck School of Medicine of USC, is working to map where food is located and connect that with individuals’ food habits and behaviors.
