Why did you choose to pursue your degree at USC?

USC offered me the flexibility to pursue my education while gaining personal and professional experience. It also offered me the opportunity to expand my network, introducing me to mentors I would have never otherwise have met.

What is one of your favorite memories from your program?

My favorite part of the program had to be all the live sessions we had. Even though the program was online, the live sessions made me feel more connected to my classmates and professors.

What course in your program did you enjoy the most and why?

My environmental health class! It really opened my eyes to so many public health topics I had not considered before. Also, the debates taught me that we really have to look at the literature to make informed decisions.

What advice do you have for incoming students?

Time management will be key if you are taking classes and working!

Where did you complete your practicum requirement and what did you learn from your experience?

I am currently completing it at Building H. Never did I think I could bring 2 passions together gaming and Public Health. So, I am definitely grateful for the opportunity.

What are you planning to do after graduation?

I’ll be applying to PA school and I’m hopeful to continue to work in the public health sector applying my knowledge!
